The Aledo Real Estate Market in September 2016
I compiled data of the real estate market for Aledo ISD in September 2016. There was only a slight increase in the average sales price compared to 2015. The bulk of homes sold (54%) are in the $201,000 to $400,000 price range.
Here’s a breakdown by sales price for the 56 sold homes in the month of September
as seen in the above pie chart:

15 homes sold for $201-300,000
15 homes sold for $301-400,000
11 homes sold for $401-500,000
7 homes sold for $500-600,000
1 home sold for $1,000,000

New Listings: 67 (Up +22% from last year)
Sold Listings: 56 (Down -10% from last year)
Average Sales Price: $356,731 (Up +2% from last year)
Days on the Market: 65 (Down -10% from last year)
Percentage of List Price: 98.4% (Up +0.5% from last year)[/pullquote]
There was a significant increase in the number of days on the market compared to August this year. However the days on the market for 2016 is down by 10% year over year for September. There were 4 homes that were on the market for over 200 days which increased the overall average. 45% of homes sold this month did so in 30 days or less. There were 3 homes that sold in less than 24 hours!
